During my stay in Norway, I found out that Paula is going to Germany to meet with two other pink ladies, Becca and Timmy. I of course, went with her. The girls were awesome and we all had so much fun watching X-Files, movies with David Duchovny and sightseeing! We also went to Unicef there where I got a pin and we took pictures :)

After Atlanta, I crossed the Ocean and landed in the Land of Vikings, Norway with one of the HoDD's pink ladies, Paula. I saw the old and the new castle and we went to the part with lots of naked (!) sculptures! ;) I had a blast! ;) Oh and we visited Unicef! ;)

After Puerto Rico, I was shipped to Atlanta, the Olympic city :) It was beautiful and I had lots of fun with Karen and her kids. And I slept with David Duchovny's calendar above my head :)

I neglected to update this thing fgor a while, so prepare for multiple posts. I have visited a lot of places since I left Nebraska. First one was beautiful and sunny Puerto Rico with Tania where I tanned and tried to get a tattoo ;) Look at the pics!

Had a lot of fun this busy holiday weekend.  I went over to Megan's grandma's house and learned how to make salsa!

Then, as we were waiting for the lids of the canning jars to pop, I learned how to fold paper cranes.

After a hard day in the kitchen, I went home and did some light reading...

After I was all rested up I had tons of energy.  So we cleaned out the shed...

And learned how to weave!

The next day was Labor Day, so Mulder and Scully stopped by to celebrate.

We had a big BBQ.  I got to be in charge of the grilling...

After we ate, we played some games.  (This is me trying to get them to guess my Taboo card...)

All in all, it was a very fun weekend. :D  I'm now resting up and starting to pack for my next trip.  Heading off to Puerto Rico soon!

I decided to take a day of silliness and trying on costumes. Who knew there were so many Hoddies! :P

Captain Hoddie

Painter Hoddie

Paging Dr. Hoddie...

Cowboy Hoddie

I heard that all Dr. Seuss characters must have fun hair...

Clown Hoddie

Leopard Hoddie

Ninja Hoddie

Pumpkin Hoddie

And in case you were wondering who was behind the camera...

Fun times! If you've never had a day of random costume silliness, I highly suggest it. :)

Yesterday I headed off to school with the 4th graders.  They were so much fun (smart bunch they are!), showing me around their room and even letting me take a spin in the teacher's chair!  I hung out with Grandma Margie as the kids worked, and at the end of the day, they even signed an original painting of me.  I'm going to miss them!

It's 75 degrees out and breezy. Perfect hiking weather! I decided to check out the Scottsbluff National Monument today, and ended up going to the Farm and Ranch Museum and doing a FTF run through the corn on the way! :)

They offered to let me ride the covered wagon up...

But I decided to tough it out and hike it instead.  That way I could also take in the beautiful scenery at my own pace.  They directed me to the start of the Saddle Rock Trail.

That is one cool rock.

There were lots of interesting places to stop along the way.

Almost to the top!  Look how far I've already come.  That trail is longer than I thought. :)

I made it! Check out the view of Scottsbluff and Gering from above...

That's a pretty long train there...

Stopped to have a snack.

And to fish out a few quarters so I could do some real sightseeing!

The trip back down was a lot easier. :P I stopped at the museum (pretty cool, you should check it out)...

And made sure to stop on the way home to do some real Fight the Future stye running through the corn! Thankfully I managed to avoid the Black Helicopters. ;)

All in all, it was a great day! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. Will write more soon. :)

To start off my off my official sight-seeing here in Western Nebraska, Megan and I decided to drive the old Oregon Trail and go check out Chimney Rock.  Turned out to be a lot of fun!  I got to check out an old Settler's trading post,  sit on a real covered wagon (granted the covered part was now long gone. :P), and watch the sun set as I paid my respects at the peacefulness of a pioneer cemetery.  I even got to take my picture with a real hard-working Nebraska farmer and his wife on the way! Check out the pictures below!

And then we were back home. :)

Today was a busy one! I got up and got ready...

Stood in as a Knight for a chess game.

Then drove to the lake to go fishing with a grandpa and his twin grandsons.  They were a riot.  Didn’t catch any fish, but it was still fun.

On my way back, I realized the best radio station around here is, coincidentally, 101.3! :O

Next I went to go check out the garden.  Holy Squash Batman! Some of those are bigger than I am!

And of course, had to stop by a cornfield.  It is Nebraska after all. :)

I then went to Chimney Rock! But I'll save those pictures for a post of their own...:)
